The general objective of the project is to examine the contribution of socio-economic activities and capacity building towards resilience of youths and ultimately strengthen youth engagement with policymakers and practitioners. This will contribute to knowledge and innovation for the promotion of large scale positive change, creation of knowledge and addressing the potential of negative impact of youth bulge as a result of unemployment. Below is a list of the project’s objectives.
The Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Honourable Kirsty Coventry officially launched a Youth Resilience and Peacebuilding manual in Harare on 20th February 2020. The manual was produced as a result of a collaborated effort by the Research and Advocacy Unit (RAU), the International Development and Research Centre (IDRC) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs.
